So, in class we had so much  fun and I well I got to see my best friend amber she told me that I was cool and our turtle was out for a few minutes  and went  back in and that’s all!

Factor Captor Game and Champion!!!

In math this week, we held a Factor Captor Tournament and it was a blast.  The kids really enjoyed it and we had the championship match today!  Check out the pics down below to see who won!!!

9/21/12

Hi my name is Taylor I had the most greatest day!  Today we came to school and then  we had to do morning work. Then we had lit circles;  it was fun. Then we had Art that was fun too. I can’t wait to go to the end. Then we had lunch that  was fun because we had to trace our pictures from last week. Then we went to Recess and I played football with Caitilin  and the boys then we came in the classroom and we played Guesstures. it was so much fun we had to guess what we were acting out! Today was so fun I just wanted to share that with you.

PTA Present!

Today, everybody in Fifth Grade got Bitty Bill's Italian Viking Ice!!!  We were so excited and it was super delicious!  Thank you so much PTA, for providing such a great back-to-school treat!  You guys ROCK!



Recycling MVPs!

Our class was responsible for cleaning up all of the recyclable bottles and cans on the playground!  We rebagged over 40 bags of plastic and faced off against smells, mice, and other great stuff.  MVP's of the school right here!  Great work, Rappers!

MVP of the Day today was Joey!!!!  :O)  He wrote an amazing poem for Math, and was kind all day today!  Great job, Joey!

MVP of the Day

Today in our class, we started an MVP of the Day.  Our class is able to vote every day who made the biggest contribution to us as a team.  We have an anonymous bucket at the back table where everyone can vote.  Today, our MVP of the day was GAVIN...who had the most amazing kickball run ever!  He had the most votes!

 



9/10/12

Hi my name is Ryan. Today was awesome for my class. My class was cleaning bottles outside. Our school had a fire drill today I was kind of scared but I wasn’t scared later during it.

Today, our class cleaned up every single plastic bottle out on the recess ground that had fallen out of the recycling bags all summer long.  SIGH!  It was SUPER hard work, and they did an AMAZING job cleaning it up!  We encountered a lot of WILDLIFE outside as well, lol.  It was CRAAAAAZZZY!  But we got it done.  Great job, Rappers!

9/7/12

Today was nice, though I put a lizard over Caitlin and Taylor’s head when they took a picture ha ha. I brought a feast for lunch it was pb and j, coco pudding, yogurt and fruit snacks.

Although I got pudding on my shirt.

Today in Class We...

Today we took a times tables quiz today and I hope it was right.

Also my new friend Ryan is so funny and I can’t wait till the next day.

Welcome New Class!!!

Welcome, welcome, welcome!!!!!
    A new year, and a new Fifth Grade Class!  We have already decided this year that we'd like to be the Rappers, so you are now looking at Ms. R's Rappers this year!  Tomorrow, I hope to take a class picture, lol.  I am so stoked about this class; we're already having loads of fun. 

   Within the last two days we did lots of great things; we wrote "I Am" poems, wrote down our goals for this year, took some surveys, and today we even took a quiz!  On top of all that, we're already getting to know each other with some ice breaker games.  We've had lots of fun today walking around and trying to figure out what word is on the back of our shirts, asking questions, and just generally having a great time! 

   I hope you have many opportunities to come back and read the blog.  THIS is where everything will be happening. Can't wait to post a class picture!
