Bus Student of the Month!!!

Many of our students are great on the bus, but for February, Kiomara was chosen by her bus driver as student of the month!  Hooray!

Crazy Hat Day!

Today was the beginning of Dr. Suess's Week, the week where we celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday on March 2nd.  Everyone had to wear their uniforms today, but it was crazy hat day, so people remembered their great hats.  I was bummed, because I forgot mine.  :O(  Anyway, here are the pictures!

Multiplyin' Maniacs!!!

Officially, we have our first two Multiplyin' Maniacs!!!  These students have completed their Multiplication Facts, all the double facts, and all the facts on one quiz!  They are now working on Division quizzes!  They did an awesome job and passed on the same day.

New Multiplication Masters!!!

Our class is so excited to have some new Multiplication Masters!  These students have completed timed quizzes of their facts from 1-12 and have now begun working on fact quizzes that have from two sets to all the facts on them!  Great work, Fifth Grade!  :O)

2nd Quarter Perfect Attendance Winners!

Our Class's Loss

At the end of January, our class lost one of it's most wonderful kids.  Joey moved to Oklahoma with his Mom, and our class greatly feels the loss.  There were many tears shed by everyone who was in class that Friday, and our going away party wasn't much of a party at all as we were all so upset.  It was really nice to see everyone rally behind Joey and show him how much we appreciated him and how much we will miss him. Our class all got together to send Joey a Valentine's Day gift out in Oklahoma.  We really hope he enjoys it!
