Read Across America

For Dr. Suess's Birthday, aside from the Door Decorating Contest, we also had several guest readers!  It was really fun, and the kids enjoyed it a lot.  I think it's really exciting to have a lot of different readers come in and share the way they read aloud.

Meghann reads "The Lorax" to the class!

Sam reads "The Big Brag."

Mr. Imdorf, our retired gym teacher, read us "Thidwick, the Big-Hearted Moose."  We shared our time with Miss Trolio's class!  It was really fun, and Mr. Imdorf does a great job, and picked a great book!  :O)

Door Decorating for Dr. Suess!

Hey everybody!  Our class decorated our door for the door decorating contest for Dr. Suess's Birthday.  You know what?  It was so good that we actually won the fifth grade competition!  Great work Fifth Grade!  Check out the pics below of the excellent work they did.  Inside every pair of socks was a tongue twister for people to say.  It was so much fun!

Here is the door...

Here are the sides of the door with the closets... Thanks to Jared's EPIC box!
